Founder’s Story – Dr. Ajay Nair
When I began my clinical journey, one question stood out: Why does there remain such a profound gap in clinicians’ understanding of the human body itself? Although many practitioners complete formal training, essential core subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, and general medicine often receive only superficial attention.
This realization led me to explore the limitations of traditional curricula—particularly how they emphasize techniques over true body literacy. To address this, I envisioned an educational model that fundamentally shifts the focus toward deep anatomical and functional understanding.
That’s how The Healer Academy was born.

A Solid Clinical Foundation
My experience spans multiple continents and settings:
- Earned my Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Dr M.G.R Medical University (2001–2007), followed by foundational clinical roles at Lakshmi Hospital (2008–2012) and Shivkami Physiotherapy Clinic (2012–2016).
- Moved to Saudi Arabia to serve as a Physical Therapy Specialist (2016–2017) and then as Head of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (2017–2018) at Hayat National Hospital.
- Completed my Master in Physical Therapy (Orthopedics) at Maharaja Vinayak Global University, Jaipur (2018–2020), and led PHYWorld Physiotherapy Clinic, New Delhi (2020–2021) .
- Earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in the U.S. (2021–2023).
- Founded Beyond Infinity Physiotherapy Clinic (2021–2024), and most recently, The Healer Academics and multiple branches of The Healer Body Correction Clinic across Delhi and Gurgaon (2023–present).


Bridging Knowledge and Practice
At the core of the Academy is the principle that clinicians should know the body intimately—how it moves, compensates, reacts—rather than simply apply techniques. This belief is grounded in decades of observing that patients are never “typical.” Each individual brings unique patterns of posture, biomechanics, and compensatory movement.
To build this deeper connection, The Healer Academy emphasizes underrepresented yet critical subjects:
- Palpation and identification of anatomical landmarks
- Trigger points, referred pain, and compensatory muscle patterns
- Joint-specific biomechanics and osteo-/arthro-kinematics
- Clinical, standing, and sitting biomechanics
- Muscle compartment positioning, nerve glides, and neural mobilization
- Myofascial sweeping, as well as muscle, bone, and joint positioning


Our Clinical Identity
At The Healer Clinic, our therapeutic approach reflects this philosophy. We offer a range of manual and holistic techniques founded on deep anatomical understanding:
- Body Correction, Joint Mobilization, Myofascial Release, Muscle & Neuro Re-education, and specialized techniques like Cranial Facial Release and Visceral Release Therapy.
- We also use advanced diagnostics—including Thermal Cameras, Digital Goniometers, Posture & Foot Analysis, and IR Thermometers—to assess and tailor treatment accurately.
- Our “First Ever Body Correction Clinic in the World” model and geographically diverse presence in West Delhi (Tagore Garden), South Delhi (Lajpat Nagar), and Gurugram demonstrate our commitment to reaching diverse patient bases with high-impact solutions.

Educational Outreach & Commitment
Through our Academy programs, including expert-led webinars like "Master the Art of Palpation" (set for early 2025), we bring hands-on, practical training directly to clinicians. These initiatives include early-bird discounts, one-on-one consultations, webinars notes, and certification—empowering practitioners right from the start.
